Who We Are
Rachel Turner, Occupational Therapist
I have worked with neurodiverse children and young people for 10 years in a range of education, health and social care settings. I qualified as an Occupational Therapist from London Southbank University in 2018 and now work in CAMHS leading a neurodevelopmental assessment team. I have undertaken postgraduate training in sensory integration therapy and sensory processing and enjoy the additional information this allows me to gather during neurodevelopmental assessment. I think diagnosis can be a powerful tool to support neurodiverse children and young people to understand themselves, and others around them to understand their needs.
Dr Sophie West, Clinical Psychologist

I progressed to completing my clinical doctorate at Royal Holloway, University of London in 2013, which involved working with adults in the community and in forensic hospitals, young people in the community and in inpatient settings and older adults in the community. Since qualifying, I’ve been working in mental health services for young people in the community across South West London and Surrey. specialising in neurodevelopmental assessment. I currently work in CAMHS, managing a neurodevelopment assessment team. I am passionate about helping young people and their families explore neurodiversity through diagnostic assessment.
